If you would like to take the Love Dare with me than please reply to this post with a comment and let me know. If I remember correctly, the Love Dare is 40 days worth of “dares”. I plan to start with Day 1 on November 1st so everyone that would like to join me will have plenty of time to order the book or pick it up at the library.
The Love Dare experience will likely be a very personal thing so I don’t expect that everyone will share every detail of their experience. I do think it would be nice to share any funny stories or new insights that occur during the journey. I will create a new post for each day of the process and will post the “Dare” for that day in the post but not all of the background information that is contained in the book (don’t want to violate any copyright laws).
Look for the first “Love Dare” post on November 1.

Count me in for the “Love Dare” – I will pick up the book tomorrow. What a wonderful way to head towards the Christmas season – truly a season that should be completely wrapped in Love! Blessings!!!

What’s cool about this is it looks like I don’t have to buy the book, but may be able to do this with you guys. Sounds fun… I like it when people share “action” together and then share experience. I know Josh hasn’t been on in a while, but I’ll see if I can suck him as well.

I don’t think you’ll need the book but it does offer some good insights going into each day. I have already created all of the posts…they are “scheduled” to post on their appropriate day….I think that’s a pretty cool WordPress feature. Hope you can talk Josh into “coming back”…hope I didn’t offend him with my posts and comments…I have a habit of not being very sensitive…not because I don’t try…I apparently just don’t know how sometimes. I am really looking forward to the Love Dare and going through it with a group. Bethany said she may not need to do the 40 day dare because she treats me so well everyday…fortunately, I can’t argue with her. I noticed though that she didn’t say that I don’t need the dare

Josh says he’s in! Josh has a really funny story concerning this book, but I don’t want to spoil it. Because of what he told me, I want to not tell Val and see if she “notices” me being different.
Maybe you can talk Val into joining us too?
BTW BOB, I’m excited about all these cool Facilatory and Social Administration talents that are starting to bloom. Just a warning from experience, you start pulling people together in unity and fellowship (under god’s love (agape love to be specific; just wanted to make that clear)) and the next thing you know they’ll start calling you Pastor.

Do you like the new “Tag Cloud” on the home page? I smiled for at least five minutes after I figured out how to get it the way I wanted it….its using flash to display the tags and categories…I didn’t write the flash…just figured out how to reuse it.

The “Tag Cloud” is excellent, but wouldn’t it be better if animated ninja dogs rode each of the category words like surf boards…just a suggestion.
I have the source code if you want to take a crack at that! Definitely out of my league…I thought it was cool that the selected word changed colors and had a box around it…but ninja dogs sounds even better! BoB

What about Jen? Or are you going to try Drew’s approach and not tell her and see if she notices? Bethany already has it on the calendar….she is counting on noticing some changes…just wish I knew for sure what they’re supposed to be….guess that’s what the Love Dare book is for.
